Welcome Jack Thompson: Hudson Homes’ New QLD Site Supervisor

We’re excited to welcome Jack Thompson to the Hudson Homes team as our new Site Supervisor in Queensland.

Jack brings practical experience, attention to detail and a genuine passion for building homes families can be proud of. His construction journey began on the Sunshine Coast where he started out as an apprentice carpenter working in renovations before running his own business. Jack built architectural homes throughout the Sunshine Coast and developed a strong appreciation for quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

“I’ve always enjoyed working on homes that offer something unique. Whether it’s a clever design detail or a standout finish, I like seeing a house come together and knowing it’s been built properly. That’s what led me to site supervision. I enjoy being part of the process from start to finish.”

After moving to Brisbane to be with his now wife, Jack moved into site supervision roles in the high-end construction market managing luxury builds with a focus on quality. He recently joined Hudson Homes, drawn to the opportunity to work with a team that shares his values.

“This is a great next step for me. I’m looking forward to working with the Hudson team and delivering homes that meet the high standards our clients expect. It’s great to be part of a company that takes pride in what they do.”

Outside of work Jack enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy. When he’s not busy renovating their own home, Jack enjoys surfing, mountain biking and exploring Brisbane with his family. Before settling down Jack and his wife travelled often and they look forward to more family adventures in the future.
